to begin to print out, so please be patient.
Bypassing Animations
--------------------
If you would like to skip the animations played throughout the program,
you may do so by clicking you left mouse button as soon as the
animation starts to play. The animation will then stop and allow the
program to continue normally.
General Printing Problems
-------------------------
Most printing problems can be resolved by obtaining the latest printer
drivers for your printer. If you are experiencing any printing
difficulties, we recommend contacting your printer manufacturer and
obtaining the latest printer drivers for your printer. Most printer
drivers can be downloaded from the Internet free of charge.
Printing Envelopes
------------------
For proper performance, it is necessary to use standard invitation size
envelopes when printing. These envelopes are commonly referred to as A2
size and their dimensions are as follows: 4 3/8 inches x 5 3/4 inches.
These standard invitation size envelopes can be purchased at your local
office supply store.
Printing in Black and White
---------------------------
When creating projects you can click on the B&W button to make the
clip art image on your design print in black and white. When using this
feature, please be aware that when you click on this button only the
portion of the project you are currently viewing will be changed to
black and white. For example, if you click on the B&W button while
viewing the front of a greeting card only the front will be made black
and white. If you would like to make the inside of the card black and
white also, you need to select the inside of the card then click on the
B&W button. This will only apply to projects that have multiple
portions such as Invitations, Greeting Cards, Bookmarks, Postcards etc.
Video or Video Card Issues
--------------------------
Spider-Man« Print Kit requires that your video card support running in
800x600 screen resolution and 16-bit color palette. To change
these settings, click Start-->Settings-->Control Panel and then select
Display. On the Settings tab, change your Desktop Area size to 800x600
and change your Color Palette to 16 Bit High Color. Also, it's also a
good idea to make sure you have the latest drivers for all of your
hardware, including your video card. These drivers can usually be
found at the manufacturer's website but there are several websites
on the Internet where you can download drivers for free.
Importing Pictures for use in your Projects
-------------------------------------------
WARNING: Importing and Exporting Images in Spider-Man« Print Kit is not
supported by Activision Customer Support.
For your convenience, Spider-Man« Print Kit allows you to import your
own pictures and use them in your projects. In order to be able to
import a picture, it must be in one of the following file formats
supported by Spider-Man« Print Kit: *.bmp, *.gif, *.jpg, *.jpeg,
*.png, *.tif, *.tiff, *.tga, *.wmf, *.emf. For best performance we
recommend that the pictures you import have a 16-Bit (32768 colors)
color depth, however; 8-Bit (256 Colors) pictures will also work.
The optimum picture size is 1275 pixels wide by 1650 pixels high,
if the pictures are smaller than this, there will be some projects
in which they will need to be resized and some loss of quality will
result.
To import your own pictures, simply click on the 'Import' button
located on the button bar and an 'Open" dialow box will appear. Once
open, simply browse to the file you wish to import, select it and
click on 'Open.' Once the picture has been imported into the program

NOTE: The import feature is not available in the following projects:
Mask, Coloring Page, Envelope, Growth Chart, Certificate, Storybook
and Puzzle.
